Situation

 

As a leading, nationally recognized provider of healthcare in East-Central Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, Welia Health hospital and clinics are known for their approach to help their community live life well. 

Physicians nationwide support “I Love to Read” the month of February. Welia Health has engaged Mason Jar Marketing to develop and create a digital and print campaign the past years. In 2020, Welia changed their strategy to focus on 3rd graders as this is a critical age for reading. Their goal was to read to 3rd graders at 4 schools and distribute over 300 books.

Solution

 

Mason Jar Marketing developed messaging that embodied Welia Health’s mission and created social media posts, school flyers, event graphics and a blog header to share the 4 events with the community and the importance of reading. 

The creative for the campaign was created in one week. 

Success

 

Over the course of 2 weeks, Welia Health physicians visited 4 elementary schools in the communities they serve. They read the first chapter of the book and gave 311 books to 3rd graders.
